Freight transport is part of the activity of many airline companies. Every day lots of products are shipped and some of them represent a potential danger to passengers, carrier or shipper. Therefore, there is an increasing sensitivity to certain substances or products that are not part of the luggage or general cargo. Through specific training to the different groups involved in aviation, we can avoid possible dangers, giving instructions on how to identify and react to a real situation. Dangerous Goods courses taught at this centre are courses divided into different categories according to the needs of the aviation industry and according to the categories referenced by ICAO / IATA. These courses meet the JAR-OPS 1 regulation and the requirements of Civil Aviation. At the end of the course, students who pass the required level will receive licenses valid for 2 years. Currently there are courses in three different categories: 1,9,6,10 and 11. Each category is focused on specific areas of air transport, strengthening some aspects at the expense of others which are not necessary.
